Switch to Nature: Go For Paper Bags

January 24, 2012 Posted by caadmin

It has been long now that man was partially won by the synthetic material after inventing it in the first place. Man developed it to overtake the nature in his own intelligent ways; but, he was soon the slave of his artificial creation. A good example in this regard is that of plastic.

The plastics overpowered man, so much so that it became difficult now to return to paper bags. What led to universal use of plastic bags and other plastic products is evident to all. But the curse it carries with it for mankind is least informed to many. The versatility of plastic and the intelligence behind its discovery is widely appreciated; it is high time to concentrate on its potential negatives for humanity.

Plastic causes cancer to people engaged in its manufacturing and to people using it innocently but widely. Children are more prone to its ill-effects, and unfortunately a great number of them are still employed in industry in far flung areas across the globe. This fact along with the ill- effect of widely popular plastics is a question mark on the modern civilization.

What is the way out of the menace plastic has ultimately brought to us? The answer to the question is not straight. The governments are both active and passive about it. They make statutes and again leave the loop-holes in them in favor of the industries that are still making and using the dangerous plastic.

People are mostly ill-informed about the potential fall-outs of using plastic for next generations and children of present times as well. The carcinogenic quality of the synthetic still leads to cancer among a great number of people that cannot be practically correlated to its use.

The only optimism lies with the people and environmentalist organizations that devote themselves for the cause of abolishing the use of plastic bags. They have well glorified the use of printed carry bags made of paper from the very grass root level. Only promotion from authorities and support from people from across the globe to such campaigns can save the earth from the menace of plastic and other synthetic material.

So, start using paper bags from now, saying a final bye to the plastic polybags. A safe nature is better than a lucrative but dangerous artificial world of convenience.
